Jerk Chickpeas

Being vegan doesn't mean you have to miss out on all your favorite flavors! Check out these fire Jerk Chipeas that you can add to your favorite bowl, taco and more!


  • 1 can of Garbanzo beans

  • ½ Pepper

  • 1 Potato diced

  • ½ Onion

  • Cherry Tomatoes

  • Garlic Powder

  • Cayenne pepper

  • Salt

  • Pepper

  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon

  • Grapeseed oil

  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos

  • ½ teaspoon ginger

  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup

  • A pinch of dried cilantro


  1. Dice the peppers, potatoes, zucchini, and cherry tomatoes.

  2. Season with garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place veggies on a pan with a little oil and roast in the oven for 45minutes.

  4. Drain and rinse chickpeas and set aside.

  5. Add grapeseed oil to skillet and sauté half an onion.

  6. While onions saute combine coconut aminos, ginger, maple syrup, cilantro, and cinnamon in a bowl and stir.

  7. Add oil and chickpeas to a skillet and season with jerk seasoning.

  8. Add coconut amino mixture to the chickpeas turn down the heat and let simmer.

*If it starts to stick a little water

Add some avocados and enjoy!
